Network Membership Fees & How to Join

Any information & details supplied will be used for Scouting purposes only
and will not be given to any person for any purpose other than the
purpose of Scouting in the UK with out your permission.

Membership fee.

On joining or 1st September (if existing member). £10

This fee covers general admin (postage, printing, website licence names etc), seed funding for events
(ie if we need deposits for halls, transport etc).

For all Invested members of the Network, a welcome pack will be presented to you,
this includes all of the items below.

Capitation

On 31st January approx £21 (varies from year to year)

This fee is waived if members can prove they have their capitation paid by another body (ie their group/district/area cover them as a leader, they pay through another Network etc). Written proof will be required.

This fee covers membership of the Scout Association, the CATVOG Area fee and the Welsh Scout Council fee.

Membership of the Scout Association includes:
a) Access to all HQ information services and literature.
b) Personal Accident and Medical Expenses Policy (Covers accidents and medical expenses occurring on Scout events in the British Isles and on the continent of Europe).
c) The Scout Association Legal Liability Policy (Covers persons authorised to be in charge of, or to assist with, Scout activities against claims made by members under their control, or their parents/guardians, or by third parties, alleging legal liability arising out of accidents or incidents occurring during any authorised Scout activity.)
